Our experience includes 'Design by Rule' e.g. BS 5500 PED 2006, ASME V111 Div 1 mandatory appendix 24.
We also 'Design by Analysis' using for example, finite element (FE) analysis with the Finglow and ANSYS programs.
Using 'STAAD' and 'mathcad' modelling we have load stress designed and built, diving bell launch are recover systems (LARS) bell and knuckle boom deck mount skids for offshore deployment, that comply to Offshore Standard for Diving Systems (DNV-OS-E402), and DNV rules for Marine Lifting Appliances.
